How much does a business server cost?
It depends on the workload, storage, redundancy and software licensing you need. We review your requirements first and give you a written proposal so you can compare on-site and cloud options.
Should we use a server or the cloud?
If your software must run locally, you work with very large files or you need fast local storage, a server may be right. If you mainly need file sharing and email, the cloud is often simpler. Many businesses use a mix.
How long does a business server last?
Server hardware commonly runs for several years, but the real limit is often when the manufacturer and operating system stop providing updates. We help you plan replacement before support ends.
Can you move our files from an old server?
Yes. We plan the migration so files, folders and permissions move over with as little disruption as possible, often after hours.
Do you back up the server?
Yes. Backup and recovery planning is part of every server we set up, and we test that files can actually be restored.
